The Visibility Project: Interviews

What: This year to celebrate Trans Day of Visibility, TransPonder is launching The Visibility Project. As a part of this project, we are interviewing trans and gender diverse folks and the people who love them to hear their stories, their troubles, and their triumphs. We hope you will come share your story with us!

What: A trans and gender diverse social hour
When: Last Wednesday of the month @ 6-8p
Who: Trans and gender diverse folks, and allies welcome
Where: MADISON 225; 225 Madison St. Eugene, OR 97402

⁠🍷 Join HIV Alliance & TransPonder for our monthly social gathering for trans, nonbinary, gender diverse, and questioning folks, and allies. This is your opportunity to meet new folks in the area, hang out in good company, and get to know each other in a relaxed social setting.

We/Us/Ours is lightly facilitated by TransPonder and HIV Alliance. TransPonder offers resources and information, and HIV Alliance offers free injection supplies, including needles, syringes, sharps containers, and alcohol pads. They can also pick up your used sharps containers.

What: Queer, Trans & Disability Support Group
When: Thursdays @ 6p PT
Who: Queer & trans people who are disabled, ages 13+
Where: Online on Google Meet
FREE

The group is open to all LGBTQIA people, including trans, nonbinary, questioning, and gender-diverse folks, ages 13+. This is a space where queer and trans people with disabilities can chat about their experiences, discuss chosen topics, and share resources and validation. What: A coffee social hour
Where: Theo’s Coffee House (199 W 8th Ave)
When: 1st Saturday of the month @ 10a – 12p
Who: All ages, everyone welcome, including all LGBTQIA people and allies
FREE

Hang out and socialize with other gender diverse folks in public setting over coffee! All LGBTQIA people and allies welcome–bring your families and friends! (Youth ages 13 and younger require a guardian.)

Free parking in the Parcade on Charnelton St.

We’ll follow the COVID guidelines for the venue.
