WHAT IS THIS SURVEY?

Each year, TransPonder puts out the Annual Community Survey which collects data that helps us to better serve you and our communities. The survey will take approximately 10 minutes and is both voluntary and anonymous.

WHO CAN TAKE THE SURVEY?

The survey is open to anyone age 10 and above.

HOW DO I COMPLETE THIS SURVEY?

Each section (except Social Support and Demographics) begins with a multiple-choice question regarding your interactions with the section topic (i.e. Programs, Events, etc.) Your answer will determine the next set of questions.
  • “Yes” will take you to a set of 2-4 short follow-up questions and 2 open feedback questions.
  • “No” will take you to a set of 1 short follow-up question and 1 open feedback question.
  • “I’m Not Sure” and “Skip This Section” will both direct to the next Section and a new topic.

All required questions have the option to skip the question; they are simply marked as required so they are not accidentally missed. Please answer the questions as completely and honestly as you can, and if you have any issues, reach out to socialmediateam@transponderoregon.org

HOW IS THE DATA USED?

First and foremost, this information will help us to improve and grow. Concrete feedback gives us the tools to develop new services and programs and modify and improve what we already offer. Secondly, the data – specifically the demographics information – gives us valuable insight into our impact and community. This insight, when paired with the actual numbers, is an important part of what we communicate to funders to secure financial support for the organization.

WHY DO YOU COLLECT DEMOGRAPHIC DATA?

Demographics play a crucial role both in informing us of the needs of specific groups and in demonstrating our community makeup to donors, partners, and funders. In addition, most grant funders require demographic information as a part of the request process, so having this data allows us to be more competitive in the funding process.

HOW IS THE DATA STORED AND ACCESSED?

All data is stored on our private Google Drive, which is HIPAA-compliant. Only TransPonder administrators have access to the data, and all data is completely anonymous and confidential.

I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS AND WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE DIRECTLY.

We are happy to answer any other questions or concerns. To speak with the communications team directly, please email socialmediateam@transponderoregon.org.
