As voters across our community and nation cast their ballots, TransPonder reaffirms its commitment to supporting a fair and inclusive society where every voice matters. This Election Day is critical for reproductive rights, LGBTQIA2S+ protections, and the future of social justice. The outcomes have the potential to shape both our nation and global politics, and we understand the urgency many of us feel.

Regardless of the results, please know that the TransPonder team will be here for you. We are dedicated to the flourishing of our vibrant community. While we may not have the power to change outcomes, our commitment to providing support, resources, and advocacy remains unwavering. If you have any TQBIPOC individuals in your life, please make sure to offer them support and acknowledgment during this challenging time. It’s important for us to know that we are not alone.

We recognize that this process can bring anxiety, dread, and anguish—not just for our community but for our staff as well. Therefore, our team will work from home on Wednesday to better care for ourselves and our community, and our office will be closed. Like everyone else, we are navigating this difficult time.

Additionally, following our recent transition to The Lavender Network, we are experiencing a backlog of emails and requests. We want to reassure you that every person reaching out to us is important. Although responses may take some time, we are committed to addressing emails as quickly as possible. The best way to reach us is by clicking HERE and emailing us.

We encourage everyone to vote with intention and solidarity, considering how each choice impacts the well-being and rights of our most marginalized populations. Together, we can shape an inclusive, affirming, and just future for all.

In solidarity,
Emz Avalos
Interim Executive Director
