I was driven to work as a therapist because I wanted to provide a healing space for people who hold marginalized identities. As a bisexual and mixed-race woman, I know how living at the intersections of stigmatization can make navigating systems of power and privilege all the more traumatic and isolating. I also know that with diverse experiences comes incredible strength, flexibility, and community. My hope is that this group can help you reconnect to yourself and others, and through that connection, you can heal old wounds and better access your strengths.
I am currently an advanced counseling psychology doctoral student at the University of Oregon. I also hold a BA in Psychology from Whitman College. I have training in both group and individual therapy settings. In particular, my training and experience has focused on working with young adults and individuals who identify as Latinx, LGBTQ, and multicultural.
