About the Group

You must see one of our behavioral health team members before attending group!

Our mental health and substance use therapy group is designed to help you build resilience and improve your overall well-being by bringing together individuals who are struggling with mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, or stress, as well as substance use disorders. The group provides a safe and supportive environment where participants can openly discuss their challenges, share their experiences, and receive support from others who are going through similar struggles.

The focus of the group sessions may vary depending on the needs of the participants, but typically include topics such as identifying triggers, improving communication skills, building self-esteem and self-care, and developing healthy coping mechanisms. Members may also learn strategies for managing their substance use, such as harm reduction techniques, and may receive education on the link between substance use and mental health. You do not need to have a previous diagnosis before visiting our behavioral health care team.

  • For the protection of our immunocompromised and disabled community members, masks are encouraged. We’ll have masks available if you need one.
