SEPTEMBER 16 & 18: FREE VOICE TRAINING WORKSHOP SERIES
|

WHAT
In this 2-session workshop, participants will learn through a variety of vocal exploration exercises how to align their speech with their identity. We will cover basic anatomy and physiology and different acoustic measures and how they impact perception of gender. Knowledge from each session is cumulative, meaning participants will gain a more complete understanding of their voice and how to alter it over both courses.
Please prepare for active group participation in vocal exercises.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROJECT (YEP!)

WHAT
TransPonder is proud to announce we are currently recruiting participants (Ages 14 -24) to join the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP!) – a pilot initiative designed to empower LGBTQ2+ youth with essential skills in leadership, advocacy, mentorship, and community building.
This pilot project is currently available for youth who wish to learn how to advocate for themselves, practice educational justice, and address systemic inequities. The pilot includes leadership modules and community engagement opportunities.
We will provide workshops, optional board meetings, and advocacy sessions with educational leaders. Mentorship provided, and peer support is available.

TransPonder will drop off food boxes for low-income people of all ages who live within Eugene or Springfield and are not able to visit an in‑person food distribution program or for whom traveling to another location to receive food is otherwise prohibitive. A bag containing shelf‑stable food items will be dropped off at your front door!

The cut‑off for signing up for a drop‑off is every Sunday at 5:00 pm. Orders received after that time will get bumped to the following week. The form will automatically close when we reach out maximum number of orders for the week and will reopen on Wednesdays at 12:00 pm.

You can also drop off used sharps containers with us and/or with HIV Alliance. Contact us for our hours; contact HIV Alliance for their syringe exchange service hours. You can also sign up to receive an at-home HIV testing kit. You do not have to order hormone injection supplies to receive a kit.
