Announcements: TransParent Support Group meets virtually this Saturday!

INTRODUCING THE LAVENDER NETWORK

TransPonder is excited to be moving into a new space with HIV Alliance, Queer Eugene, Eugene PRIDE, and the Eugene Performing Arts Center!

The new space is called the Lavender Network and is located at 440 Maxwell Road in Eugene. It will offer mission-driven services under one roof, while also holding space for organizing, socializing, fundraising, recovering, collaborating and creating as we face new challenges and attempts to erase queer and trans identity.

TransPonder will be closed beginning October 25 as we pack up and move to the new building and we will be back open on November 4th at the Maxwell location!

The food program will be open on October 31st at 440 Maxwell Road

Tues, Oct 15: BOOK CLUB

Where: In person (Sheldon Community Center) & virtual (Google Meet)

Join us on Wednesdays @ 6p PT for a trans/gender-diverse yoga class at Sheldon Community Center (2445 Willakenzie Rd, Eugene) in the Hazelnut Room. There will be someone at the front desk who can direct you. We’ll have mats, blocks, straps, chairs, and bands available.

Thurs, Oct 17: QUEER, TRANS, & DISIBILITY GROUP

What: A support group for people who are queer or trans and are disabled
When: Thursdays @ 7-8p PT; see our website for dates
Who: Queer & trans people who are disabled, ages 13+
Where: Online on Google Meet; email us for the link

The group is open to all LGBTQIA people, including trans, nonbinary, questioning, and gender-diverse folks, ages 13+. This is a space where queer and trans people with disabilities can chat about their experiences, discuss chosen topics, and share resources and validation. Who: Parents, caregivers, guardians of trans/gender diverse youth

Join our support group for parents and guardians of trans and gender diverse children. This is a great place to get resources, talk about the current political environment for trans youth, and gather in community and support.
