Career Exploration with Worksource Lane

Who: 18+, allies welcome

FREE

Explore ways to identify your skills and interests while researching possible career choices. You’ll have access to assessments based on preference and gained experiences. We will also review the labor market and discover jobs in local industries. Job seekers can choose to continue accessing other resources and workshops via Worksource as well. This is a computer lab workshop and all materials are provided.

Join us on Wednesdays @ 6p PT for a trans/gender-diverse yoga class at Sheldon Community Center (2445 Willakenzie Rd, Eugene) in the Hazelnut Room. There will be someone at the front desk who can direct you. We’ll have mats, blocks, straps, chairs, and bands available.

Thurs, Jul 18: QUEER, TRANS, & DISIBILITY GROUP

What: A support group for people who are queer or trans and are disabled
When: Thursdays @ 7-8p PT; see our website for dates
Who: Queer & trans people who are disabled, ages 13+
Where: Online on Google Meet
FREE

The group is open to all LGBTQIA people, including trans, nonbinary, questioning, and gender-diverse folks, ages 13+. This is a space where queer and trans people with disabilities can chat about their experiences, discuss chosen topics, and share resources and validation. Who: Parents, caregivers, guardians of trans/gender diverse youth
Where: Virtual on Google Meet

Join our support group for parents and guardians of trans and gender diverse children. This is a great place to get resources, talk about the current political environment for trans youth, and gather in community and support.
