Tues, Feb 27: BOOK CLUB

Tues, Feb 27: QTBIPOC GROUP

When: Every 4th Tuesday @ 6-7p PT
Who: All LGBTQIA2S Black people, Indigenous people, and people of color, ages teen+
Where: Virtual, on Google Meet.

This discussion group is for Black people, Indigenous people, and people of color, who are also LGBTQIA2S, questioning, and/or somewhere on the rainbow. For questions about the group or to speak with the facilitator contact: TBIPOC@transponder.community

Wed, Feb 28: WE/US/OURS SOCIAL HOUR

What: A (happy) social hour
When: Every last Wednesday @ 6-8p
Who: Trans and gender diverse folks, LGBTQIA folks, and allies welcome
Where: Public House, Springfield, OR

Join HIV Alliance & TransPonder for our monthly social gathering for trans, nonbinary, gender diverse, and questioning folks, and allies. This is your opportunity to meet new folks in the area, hang out in good company, and get to know each other in a relaxed social setting. (The event is at a wine tasting venue and people will be drinking alcohol.)

We/Us/Ours is lightly facilitated by TransPonder and HIV Alliance. HIV Alliance offers free injection supplies, including needles, syringes, sharps containers, and alcohol pads. They can also pick up your used sharps containers.

Wed, Feb 28: Queer Family Yoga

Who: All ages, sexualities, genders, and experience levels welcome (ages 14 and under must have a guardian present).
Where: Sheldon Community Center

Join us on Wednesdays @ 6p PT for a family-friendly yoga class at Sheldon Community Center (2445 Willakenzie Rd, Eugene) in the Hazelnut Room. There will be someone at the front desk who can direct you. We’ll have mats, blocks, straps, chairs, and bands available.

This class is made possible by a grant from First Congregational United Church of Christ, Comunidad y Herencia Cultural, and Eugene Arte Latino, and a partnership with the City of Eugene.⁠

Thurs, Feb 29: QUEER, TRANS, & DISIBILITY GROUP

What: A support group for people who are queer or trans and are disabled
When: Thursdays @ 6-7p PT; see our website for dates
Who: Queer & trans people who are disabled, ages 13+
Where: Online on Google Meet
FREE

The group is open to all LGBTQIA people, including trans, nonbinary, questioning, and gender-diverse folks, ages 13+. This is a space where queer and trans people with disabilities can chat about their experiences, discuss chosen topics, and share resources and validation. Sat, Mar 2: TRANS & ALLIES SOCIAL HOUR

When: Every 1st Saturday @ 10a – 12p
Who: All ages, everyone welcome, including all LGBTQIA people and allies

Socialize with other LGBTQIA folks in public setting over coffee! All LGBTQIA people and allies welcome–bring your families and friends! (Youth ages 13 and younger require a guardian.) Free parking in the Parcade on Charnelton St.
