Announcements: The TransParent Support Group will be in person this week, and the Trans Community Support Group will be virtual.

ANNUAL COMMUNITY SURVEY

Each year, TransPonder puts out our Annual Community Survey, which collects data that helps us better serve you and our communities.

Complete the survey by March 31st, and you will be entered to win a $50 Target gift card!

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes and is both voluntary and anonymous. The survey is open to anyone age ten and above.

EMPOWERING TRANS LIVES: A SHOWCASE

From athletes to actors, authors to activists, trans people are reshaping the world through their stories and content.

Join us on March 31st for a virtual event where we highlight trans and gender-diverse creators and performers!⁠

The event will be live-streamed on Facebook, YouTube, and our website.

Queer Community Day

WHAT: A Queer Community Day

WHERE: Queer Resource Center (1185 Arthur St.)

WHEN: Saturday, March 25th, 11a – 3p

WHO: All ages (youth ages 14 and under need a guardian present)

Join TransPonder and HIV Alliance for a community day with art projects, a raffle, FREE STI testing and incentives, and gender-affirming supplies

Wed, Mar 20: Queer Family Yoga

Who: All ages, sexualities, genders, and experience levels welcome (ages 14 and under must have a guardian present).
Where: Sheldon Community Center

Join us on Wednesdays @ 6p PT for a family-friendly yoga class at Sheldon Community Center (2445 Willakenzie Rd, Eugene) in the Hazelnut Room. There will be someone at the front desk who can direct you. We’ll have mats, blocks, straps, chairs, and bands available.

This class is made possible by a grant from First Congregational United Church of Christ, Comunidad y Herencia Cultural, and Eugene Arte Latino, and a partnership with the City of Eugene.⁠

What: A support group for people who are queer or trans and are disabled
When: Thursdays @ 6-7p PT; see our website for dates
Who: Queer & trans people who are disabled, ages 13+
Where: Online on Google Meet
FREE

The group is open to all LGBTQIA people, including trans, nonbinary, questioning, and gender-diverse folks, ages 13+. This is a space where queer and trans people with disabilities can chat about their experiences, discuss chosen topics, and share resources and validation. Who: Parents, caregivers, guardians of trans/gender diverse youth

Join our support group for parents and guardians of trans and gender diverse children. This is a great place to get resources, talk about the current political environment for trans youth, and gather in community and support.
